Actualités

Immerse yourself in a brand-new world of nautical fun. Adventure Cove; now open.

An exciting addition to the Staffordshire-based family attraction, Drayton Manor Theme Park, the new Adventure Cove area.

The new Adventure Cove area is a nautical themed zone for the whole family to enjoy, with fun add-ons to some of the park’s most-loved family-favourites, and a selection of new rides and attractions.

The new area is set to bring a vibrant maritime theme to the Midlands, offering a bright and colourful coastal feel for coaster fans and families, with barrels, boats and steering wheels aplenty.

The first of many attractions to be announced in the park is the new River Rapids ride. The young and young-at-heart will be taken on a journey, through a cartoon-style fishing port, on a 9-person boat around a rapids course, past vibrant painted shacks and seafarers.

Family-favourites such as Shockwave have also been painted in a vibrant rainbow of colours, bringing a fresh and fun atmosphere to the area. A riveting light-house rescue mission awaits guests for Stormforce 10, on this wild, white-knuckle ride like no other. Stormforce 10 fans will also be thrilled with the painting of the iconic tower, creating a dramatic view over the lake.

William Bryan, managing director at Drayton Manor Park, said: “We are so excited to welcome visitors back to the park, and introduce them to Adventure Cove this summer!

“We’ve been busy behind the scenes while the park has been closed, and we’re really pleased with how the new area is looking”

“It’s especially exciting for us to the be able to launch the new Adventure Cove area, along with number of new rides and attractions for families and coaster fans alike. We look forward to welcoming guests back to enjoy a summer of fun and seafaring adventures at Drayton Manor Park.”

In addition to the new Adventure Cove area, the park has confirmed there is another phase of investment planned for 2022, with further details to be revealed in due course.
